Change of Address Notifications

Before you move, notify the following contacts of your new address:

  • Clients and partners
  • Suppliers and service providers
  • Banks, insurers, and financial institutions
  • Internet, telephone, and utility companies
  • Stationery, water, or food service suppliers
  • Printer/copier service providers
  • HMRC, Companies House, and other statutory bodies
  • Professional organisations or associations
  • Any account or billing departments

3 Months – Pre-Move Planning

Start preparing your new space while packing up the current one.

✅ Create an inventory of existing office furniture and equipment
✅ Identify what can be reused, sold, donated, or recycled
✅ Place orders for new furniture and tech (we can help!)
✅ Arrange cleaning services for both old and new locations
✅ Book external storage if required
✅ Sign any permits or move-related paperwork
✅ Coordinate with your movers and send them a floor plan


1 Month – Team Preparation

Keep your team informed and involved.

✅ Share the move date and clear instructions
✅ Allocate colour codes per department and desk numbers per employee
✅ Label tech equipment and communal space areas
✅ Distribute moving packs with new location info, colour codes, and maps
✅ Assign staff members to manage their department’s packing
✅ Book parking permits and service lift access for moving day
✅ Finalise access cards and security codes for the new premises


1–2 Weeks – Logistics & Packing

Moving Day – Make it Happen
